The hotel Sunbay Hotel, especially popular with honeymooners, is around 30 km from Heraklion (Agios Nikolaos around 39 km, Chania around 168 km). The private sandy beach is in the vicinity of the hotel. At the beach, there are sun loungers free of charge available. The tourist centre is only a few metres away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 50 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 200 m. There are restaurants and bars within a very short distance of the hotel. Also the nearest disco is around 50 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema and a theatre are approx. 3 km away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Lychnostatis Museum (approx. 750 m away), Knossos (approx. 34 km away), Archaeological Museum (approx. 32 km away) and Festos Palace (approx. 77 km away). For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 10 m away), a bus stop (approx. 50 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 3 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee).

For the meals, there is a restaurant (air-conditioned). You can relax in good company in the hotel bar. WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning and concierge service are free of charge. Laundry service and medical service (from 10:00 - 10:30) are available for a fee. Ironing service is against a deposit.

Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel, designed in traditional style, you will find one salt water pool with a children´s pool (open from May to October). Here, there are sun loungers for free available. Refreshing beverages can be consumed directly at the pool bar (open from 10:00 - 22:00).
